It is advisable to wear warm clothing and protect yourself from the sun, as the sunlight in this region is one of the most intense in the world. It's important to wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat, even on cloudy days.

Tourist attractions in Puno:

• The Cathedral and the Main Square: These places were built on the ancient ceremonial site "Supay Kancha." The cathedral stands out for its silver front and the magnificent paintings from the Cuzco School. Interesting elements such as mermaids, flowers, pumas, and the sun can be seen on the exterior facade.

• The Carlos Dreyer Museum:Founded by the German Carlos Dreyer, this museum houses a diverse collection, including ceramics, gold and silver objects, pre-Inca and Inca textile sculptures, as well as artifacts from the colonial and republican periods.
